Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk to you about my study programme.
I'm in first grade and for this reason I can't tell to you what kind of change I would like to do to this programme because I have just been a few of courses. For this reason I'm going to talk to you about my experience in first grade and some changes that I would like the teachers could modify.
My first semester in this career was very difficult because apart from the very programme request I had to adapt to Santiago life, including the stressed life for the metro, I had to adapt to a new house with a harder cohabitation, also because the life in Santiago is very fast, you have to run all day across the city.
Well, the curriculum has an extension of 6 years with the last 3 years with clinic practice. We have to study from basic sciences, Anatomy, Simulation, Diagnostics, to Clinic Work, included children, adult and senior citizen, Odontology Emergencies, an Investigation Project and finally the Grade Thesis; Then we are authorized to practise as an Odontologist.
The faculty facilities aren't the best but I think there are enough to form the best odontologist to this country because we have the best teachers, the best odontology instrumental and the older odontology faculty with the best graduate professionals. The classroom aren't the best because the projectors are very bad and the air circulation is bad too.
Talking about the technology I think there are good but not excellent, because we have old computers and we don't have air conditioning, also we have a little garden with a little grass, and the food is very bad with a few places to eat.
I stand out the investigation laboratories because there are completely full of the best technologies in Chile and the teachers have the best publications about odontology.
Finally I would like to change some aspects of the study programme such as eliminating some subjects that we never have to need to practise this beautiful career.
